Your inventory, wherever it lives.
Dealers ask us one question first: “Does DealerEdge work with my DMS?” The honest answer is yes — because we built four ways in, and one of them works for every dealership we've met.
Four ways to connect
your DMS.
Native DMS feeds
DealerEdge ingests dealer management system inventory feeds directly — WinBoats and Lightspeed feeds sync automatically today. A new unit entered in your DMS shows up as a complete, sales-ready listing the same day, and only changes are processed on each sync, so nothing goes stale.
Any DMS with a feed export
Run Dockmaster, DX1, Blackpurl, IDS Astra, or another system? If your DMS can export inventory — XML or CSV, scheduled or on demand — DealerEdge normalizes it into the same 65+ field unit record we build from native feeds: year, make, model, price, engine, hours, options, colors, HIN, location, and everything else your DMS knows about the boat. Setup is part of onboarding; you don't build anything.
Secure file-drop
No API, no scheduled export? Your team (or your DMS vendor) drops the inventory file into a private, secure folder and DealerEdge picks it up and syncs automatically. This is live in production today — it's how some of our feeds run.
No export at all? We onboard from your website.
This is the one nobody else offers: if your inventory already lives on your current website, DealerEdge can read it straight from your site — every unit, specs, and photos — and build your new inventory from there. No DMS project, no IT ticket, no data entry. It's how we can baseline a dealership before a contract is even signed.
What happens after
the connection.
However your data arrives, every unit gets the same treatment:
- ✓65+ fields normalized per boat — no more “3 of 65 fields made it online”
- ✓AI-written listing copy, enhanced photos (the boat stays the boat), specs, financing, FAQ, and schema on every unit
- ✓Sync out to your website, Google, AI search, Boat Trader, YachtWorld, Facebook Marketplace, and more
- ✓Sold and status changes propagate to every channel automatically
- ✓MAP compliance enforced by brand before anything publishes
The rest of your stack
plugs in too.
The DMS connection is where your data comes in. These integrations are where it goes to work:
- ✓Marketplace syndication — listings pushed to Facebook Marketplace, Boat Trader, and YachtWorld, with sold units pulled down automatically
- ✓Google — Google Ads (Performance Max), Merchant Center product feeds, Google Analytics 4, and Google Search Console, connected from your dashboard
- ✓Meta — Facebook and Instagram advertising with a catalog built straight from your live inventory, plus organic page publishing
- ✓SEO tracking — SEMrush keyword and rank tracking wired into your reporting, so search visibility is measured, not guessed
- ✓Built in, no integration needed — CRM, lead scoring, email and SMS follow-up, and reporting are part of the platform itself

fits your DMS?
